Mechanical Actuators
AeroControlex provides sliding and ball-bearing style control cables as well as gearboxes and manual actuators, which transmit force and motion to operate numerous types of aircraft systems. These include landing gear, braking, water and waste, engine, door, steering and cockpit systems applications. Control systems are custom designed from a wide variety of available configurations to maximize efficiency and load carrying capability while minimizing backlash and weight. They can handle very complex routing, installation needs while still maintaining low operating forces through use of innovative design features, and configurations. The controls can be provided in any length and with any operating interface. They have been proven through extensive DO-160G and MIL-STD-810 testing and real world experience to provide the highest levels of durability and performance.
Pumps
AeroControlex provides gear, gerotor, and centrifugal pumps for use in many aerospace applications on lubrication, hydraulic, fuel and coolant systems. These pumps may be either shaft or electric motor driven, and are often designed as modules to incorporate numerous other functions such as filtration, bypass, relief, pressure and temperature sensing, and integral reservoirs. Each pump is designed for the specific application and is sized to meet the flow and pressure requirements needed while optimizing weight, envelope, power draw and durability of the pump.
